How far in advance should I book my balloon installation or delivery?

The sooner the better! To ensure availability, we recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance for installations. However, for smaller deliveries, we may be able to accommodate shorter notice based on our schedule.

How do I secure my event date?

A deposit of half of your total is required to secure your booking and the balance is due 7 days prior to your event day. You can also pay in full. We will invoice you for these amounts, no zelle or cash app is accepted.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept online payments through all major credit and debit cards.

How long do air-filled balloons last?

Air-filled balloons generally last 2 weeks or more. Their quality may diminish over time.

How long do helium-filled balloons last?

We treat helium latex balloons with a high-quality sealant to extend its float time! You can expect for them to last up to 24 hours for 12" and more for bigger size balloons. We recommend your helium pickup or delivery to be as close to your event time as possible so everything looks fresh throughout your event.

Please note that float times may vary based on temperature, altitude, and indoor conditions.

Can I use my own backdrops?

Absolutely! We’re happy to incorporate your backdrops, props, or structures into the balloon installation.

Just a few guidelines: To ensure your event setup runs smoothly, any client-provided or rented backdrops and props must be fully set up before our arrival to allow enough time for a complete balloon installation. For stability, backdrops need weights or sandbags as our balloons are large and could tip lighter structures.

Installation Expectations

  • Please ensure the installation area is clean, cleared, and accessible before our arrival.
  • Clients are responsible for securing any required venue approvals, permissions, or loading instructions prior to installation day.
  • Install times are scheduled within a designated arrival window and may vary slightly depending on traffic, venue access, and event logistics.
  • A responsible contact person must be available by phone during setup.
  • Electrical access may be required for certain displays or inflating equipment.
  • Outdoor installations are subject to weather conditions including wind, rain, direct sunlight, and extreme heat. We are not responsible for damage caused by weather after setup is complete.
  • Once installation is completed and approved onsite, Chic Balloons is not responsible for popped balloons, damage, or movement caused by guests, venue staff, or environmental conditions.
  • Large installations may require additional setup time and/or early venue access.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring accurate measurements and sufficient setup space at the venue.
  • Any last-minute changes made onsite may result in additional fees and extended setup time.

Pickup/Strike Policy

  • Strike and pickup services must be scheduled in advance at the time of booking.
  • Pickup times are based on venue access and event end times provided by the client.
  • Rental items including stands, frames, backdrops, and specialty equipment remain the property of Chic Balloons and must be available for retrieval at the agreed-upon time.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring rental items are protected from damage, theft, weather exposure, and improper handling while in their possession.
  • Additional fees may apply for excessive cleanup, broken rental items, missing inventory, or delayed pickup access.
  • Balloon decor intended for disposal may be popped and removed onsite unless otherwise discussed.

Weather Policy

  • Balloon decor is highly sensitive to weather conditions including heat, wind, rain, humidity, and direct sunlight. Outdoor installations are completed at the client’s discretion.
  • Chic Balloons is not responsible for popped balloons, shifting decor, oxidation, fading, or damage caused by weather or environmental conditions after setup is complete.
  • High temperatures and direct sunlight may significantly reduce the lifespan and appearance of balloons, especially during Texas summers.
  • Outdoor balloon installations are recommended for shorter event durations and shaded areas whenever possible.
  • For safety reasons, Chic Balloons reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel outdoor installations due to severe weather conditions including high winds, storms, lightning, or unsafe working environments.
  • If weather conditions require a redesign, relocation indoors, or additional reinforcement materials, additional fees may apply.
  • Clients are responsible for providing an alternate indoor setup location when possible in the event of inclement weather.
  • Refunds will not be issued for weather-related balloon performance issues once an installation has been completed.
  • Client pickup orders should be transported in a temperature-controlled vehicle whenever possible and should not be left in direct heat for extended periods of time.
